Asset Tracking a Problem? Hardcat's got you covered.

The foundation of sound asset management is an accurate list of assets. Hardcat now provides multiple ways in which asset tracking can be applied. Organisations can use any combination of these tools to achieve their goal of an accurate asset management system.

CatScan

The PDA based CatScan application is the "heavy lifter" of Hardcat's asset auditing suite of tools. Using either barcode, RFID, Dot Peen, or QR codes the CatScan application is still the fastest way of performing a large asset audit and verification project.

The robust scanners with high read rates results in fast and accurate audits with the ability to audit over 1,000 assets per person per day dependent on the environment.

CatScan is the best option for auditing sites where there are large asset volumes.

MiCat

The next option to explore is the MiCat Assets function. MiCat is Hardcat's smartphone based application and allows deployment to a wider number of users due to its ease of implementation and use.

MiCat Assets is perfect where there are small numbers of assets in many sites or where auditing is to be done frequently and not on a large project basis.

The My Assets is perfect for verifying assets where these have been issued to an individual e.g. mobile technician could be asked to do a condition report on the assets they use each month.

HardcatWeb Audit My Assets

Audit My Assets is a Web based application that prompts users to confirm the existence of assets that have been assigned to them. An easy to deploy browser based function Audit My Assets is best implemented with the Active Directory user manager and integrated login functionality and it is a perfect solution for auditing equipment on personal issue such as IT equipment and mobile phones.

As the video below shows the login can be location based prompting the user to audit all the assets in a particular space or location.

Hardware Interface

The Hardcat Hardware interface integrates with IT asset management tools such as Microsoft SCCM to provide on-line asset audits of desktop, laptops and servers.

This highly specific applications builds a link between the Hardware audit tool and Hardcat Preset Questions. The interface then populates the data tables in Hardcat and allows detailed asset management of your IT hardware.
